No quotes needed when you enter the values or create a key.
I would recommend
CeRegEditor for changing values and general management of the registry. It lets you do it from your PC (with you PPC connected of course) and it has conversion functions that let you save it as a .reg file or a CAB file that makes for an easy install after a hard reset. Very cool AND free!
