The fact that your criticism is purely based on your own experience shows that your are in tune with the real world. I am not saying Mighty is correct, nor am I siding with him. I also don't care how may posts, reps, age, or whatever anyone has. Saying "I've never... [this or that so you shouldn't either]" is foolhardy at best.

I'm adding my statistic to the pool of replies that comes up every time a thread like this comes up. My guess is about half of us don't bother (based on other similar threads) and have not seen anything different than anyone else as far as issues.
OP asked, I gave my opinion and experience.
Stick with posting your own experience and opinion and don't try to disqualify mine and let the OP decide.
I do deal with trouble shooting customers and I don't start with equivelent of doing the same thing twice or 3 times.
"Did you format the drive and install windows, good now do it again".
