ive always called my phone a dumbphone as it cannot do simple tasks sometimes without freezing up.

Make it a "1" and you'll have 2 options in ur phone settings... 1 to synch to Internet Time & the other to sync to Internet Timezone. Play with toggling both of these & hitting "update" to see what happens.
Again, just offering suggestions. In My settings, TIME is checked & TIMEZONE is not checked.
