But if you are talking about an Outlook account with an Exchange server; what I do is: from the message view you can choose menu, tools, and manage folders and set more of your outlook folders to sync with exchange. Then move messages to specifc folders (I keep a folder named "active" for current important items, then move them to another folder for archiving or simply delete them if finished with them.
