If it's true then it's awesome. I doubt it's true though. It's just fluff to keep the investors from rioting.

Clearly, if these guys are saying things like this, there must be some merit to what I was saying about no device support on Wimax if nobody else adopts that technology.

If they can really switch without any trouble, then they need to go on and do it right now. The longer they wait, the harder it is going to be.

If they went LTE, there would without question be lots of device support. Forget the fact that Europe and pretty much every worldwide GSM carrier is going LTE. Verizon and AT&T are both already confirmed to be going LTE in the USA. So if Sprint went LTE too, it would definitely be a good thing for Sprint. Heck, it would be a good thing for the whole USA.
