It's nicer than the TP1, but I see what you're saying. The 3.2" screen is hard to favor as opposed to a 3.6". Still, the eXpo is WVGA (TP1 was VGA) and it looks sharp.
Light sensor, accelerometer, finger print scanner, fantastic 5MP camera with a nice flash, Snapdragon (qsd8650), ample RAM, WVGA, excellent hardware build and the ability to add a Pico projector is pretty darn impressive and kicks the snot out of the TP1 and even offers a few things that the TP2 lacks, making the LG eXpo interesting enough to play with.
