Well the first problem is that the Moutain Dew themes you are downloading from this thread are NOT for the iPhone. They are for WinMob and HTC's TouchFlo interface.
I am actually working on a MD theme for the iPhone, as the "Custom Item" thread I posted my reply to your request just a few moments ago.
