When you hit the down arrow on the right side, the date moves up one day and the page moves upwards, showing the next day. When you hit the up arrow on the left side, the date moves down one day and the page moves down to bring back the previous day's view...

Also noticed the phone dialer is the same way. The button/arrow/indicator to show&hide the numberpad of the phone dialer is backwards as well.
