or you can just take if off completely with a tweezer.. When you bring in a phone for service just because your moisture sensor is triggered doesn't mean they won't look into it and see if there is any other corrosion. If there isn't they would still replace for phone for you in store..

I've always just removed mine and never have been hassled for it.
