Re: |H|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| * EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28014/21885) |Dec 21| Sense 2.1 and 2

I was a MightyROM fan ever since I've been on non-stock ROMs for my TP. I just came from the 2nd Sprint ROM release to this 21885 12/21 EnergyROM, since I was craving 6.5 again. I am mostly pleased with the ROM. Lots of goodies, Sense 2.1 is very nice. But there is a problem. Either on soft reset or TF3D restart (like if you change the theme), it takes FOREVER for the phone to become responsive. Like over a minute. And when it does respond, it is laggy for over 5 minutes. I tried hard resetting. I even tried reflashing.

My theory is it has something to do with my 3 e-mail accounts and the amount of e-mail in the inboxes because it doesn't seem to happen until I sync with exchange. Since TF3D 2.1 aggregates all the correspondence modes with a contact, is it perhaps caching or indexing all of my contacts to all of my e-mail?

For actual numbers, I have 124 Outlook contacts and 1377 Inbox e-mails. I also have two POP3 accounts, one with 300 e-mails and the other with 17 e-mails. On all previous 6.1 or 6.5 ROMs, the only time I noticed a slow down with regard to the number of e-mails in my inbox was when I'd select the E-mail tab and the Outlook inbox was selected. It would take a second or two to display the message preview. Otherwise, I noticed no slow-down. I have even synchronized my sent items at times, 913 additional e-mails.

Since TF3D 2.1 adds the contact aggregation stuff, I assume it is related to that. Is there anything I can do aside from removing e-mail messages from the Exchange server?
