I've used SPB Phone Suite as a substitute, but the program is huge and contains a whole host of features I don't want.

I've also used pocketshield as well, but it was a little buggy and I could never quite figure out how to shut off the lockscreen as I didn't want it.

I'll try the program in the XDA thread posted above and see how it goes
