Re: VZW replacing TP1 with TP2!
I've been reading this thread with interest, and gave it a try over the past 2 days - with success.
Background : Refurbished TP for the past 6 months. Original (NIB) screen died. 2 TPs in 9 months.
Reason used for technical support : Phone has always overheated for long calls. Phone has now begun to shut off on its own when it gets too hot.
Call #1 : Transferred to tech support, was provided some hard reset options and asked to call back if the problem continues.
Call #2 : Offered a replacement TP from a "good" warehouse, that only has phones returned during the 30 day trial period. Declined.
Call #3 : Tech support asked some questions about the age of the battery and finally offered TP2. No contract extension. Accepted.
