Run acbpowermeter and see what your power draw is - give it half a minute to stabilize. Should be around 70mA or less at idle with the screen on. If it is, then you might want to watch it over time and see if you have a data connection that's enabling periodically (those really suck power). If your average power draw is 100+, then you have something enabled that's causing your issue.

thanks the problem was the MASSIVE data connections everything is perfect now...thanks for the help
