Yes it does. It happened to me about 2 yrs ago. I would bet that is why Insurance claims have been shut down unless you go to a store. They can't seem to get this under control. Sprint online advanced exchange has been discontinued. That has nothing to do with someone calling Asurion and getting an insurance replacement or going through phoneclaim.com and getting it that way. So the same thing could happen to you again unfortunately. Though the odd thing is normally you have to give them the $100 deductible via credit card. I know some people have had it charged to their bill but Asurion wouldn't do that for me when I used them.
