I was using the latest build from 12/17 w/ maxmanila cooked in for about 4 days (which is the longest I've run any ROM in the last few weeks). I loved it, but the RAM usage was insane. Just at idle, it would use anywhere between 72% and 86%! I tried stripping out anything extra that would always draw resources like palringo and swype. I still had issues. Not only did I not have enough memory left to run apps like Youtube, the battery life was also horrible. With moderate usage I was dead about halfway through the day. Also, "x" would periodically just minimize instead of close. And yes, I have the right option selected to close apps. I've since gone back to MightyROM Project WAR and added maxmanila, put palringo and swype back in and at idle I never use more than 65% of my RAM. So, I'm hoping the next version of this come out a bit more efficient, like I said...I love this ROM, it just isn't working for me yet.
