I think the point, though, is why have a proprietary connector in the first place? I don't want to go buy a $13 cable to let an i760 do what a 6800 can with a standard mini-USB cable.
I'm also torn (still using a custom-ROM Apache myself) between the 6800 and the i760; I had been leaning toward the Samsung, but HTC makes such great PDA's, and highly moddable...
