Even if you did that, you still couldn't use the iPhone on Sprint. Sprints network could not accept or use the iPhone.

Think of it this way. When you use the SIM card in your Sprint phone, you're NO LONGER using Sprint's network. Your roaming on a GSM network. The TP2 and Blackberry can use Sprint CDMA or GSM service. But Sprint doesn't offer GSM service, and iPhone ONLY works with GSM.

with this being said a iphone would work on a sprint sim it would just be in global roaming the whole time! it wouldnt use sprints cdma network it would us the network that has a agrement with sprint for gsm roaming! just like verizon uses vodafone for gsm roaming! this whole process will just be very expencive!! if i remember correctly like $2 per min!
