I'm not really sure what the point of this thread is. I understand the OP's initial question...but then y'all sunk way down into the weeds and are just being silly.

If you've been around here for the last couple months then you undoubtedly remember other threads that addressed the unlocker and the work of cmonex.

I don't know how else to say this....but y'all need to chill out!

If you are concerned that information is being collected in the background without your consent or without being disclosed then do not use the unlocker. Keep in mind though that the expectation of privacy in this day and age (especially on the internet) is pretty much a joke. I'll be looking up everyone's IP addresses and posting them here shortly so that others can do evil things with them. I also have access to your email addresses and, through a recently installed hack, can actually remotely turn on your webcam if you have one hooked to your pc/laptop.

There are a couple of options available to everyone and advice offered below. Where appropriate I give credit to the original author:

1. Write your own unlocker (rainfreak).
2. Use the unlocker provided by cmonex.
3. Get someone else to write an unlocker for you (rainfreak).
4. Don't unlock your phone.
5. Stop complaining about the hard work that others are doing for you.
6. Sell your TP2s and buy Nokia n900s (schettj).
7. PEBKAC error (MordyT).
8. You're thinking with the little head and not the big head.
9. Pay more attention to your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend and less attention to your phone.
10. Get an iPhone.
