Just called them today and was told by the escalations "floor manager" for Adv. Tech Support that the unread texts problem had been reported to Sprint and HTC and they were working on a CAB-based fix for it, which should be out next month, and I'd just have to suck it up until then.
Which I think is total bullshit. I guess I'll call again later and complain some more. I'll try Executive Support... I know you didn't have luck with them, but it's worth a shot.
