What do you mean by install "cdma fix"? It might be a better solution than what I am about to try.
I contacted the person on XDA post #2482 and they instructed me to follow their GSM instructions, but in order to complete the process for a CDMA phone i must....
There is a setting in the registry you have to change for cdma. Basically you just need to edit the value of People.Message.IsCDMA to be 1 in HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila. (you need to set the registry value for People.Message.IsCDMA to 1 in HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila/, it will be set to 0 by default for GSM users.)
Does this sound right? I am gonna try it out. I will report back.
