After a hard reset, your device should go back to factory settings so the registry should be back to default. After your hard reset, did you restore with a backup file? That could be your problem as the backup file has the edited registry. Or there may be an app that you install that is causing the conflict.

No back up files were restored.I did use Phone Alarm.I noticed this problem when both missed and voice mail were present.I clicked the missed call tab on Phone Alarm dismissing call and WM VOICE MAIL icon clears>It should not even be there).I then use hardware voicemail softkey to check mail.when I save or deleat message,hang up the WM MISSED ICON appears>Should not be there) .From that point ive did a couple soft and hard resets loadind diffrent builds of Phone Alarm with the same result.I ditched PA Still not having shared alert icon present
