^ many have tried to unlock that gps feature and still work in progress...the 6700, however, cannot be used as a parent phone on the locater service...I kept pestering utstarcomm for info on how to use gps or a-gps on the 6700 until they sent me a final email saying it's proprietary information they cannot currently release..lol
