I understood that from your first message. I've had different software do the same thing on my Intrepid. But you posed the question "what to do?" in your message, so I thought perhaps you were asking how to perform the hard reset when it is not possible to boot the phone (the answer is to hold the center button while resetting the phone).
Otherwise, I'd say "what to do" is not install those input programs and thank you for letting the forum know so that others can avoid having to hard reset.
