NexVision is correct. Verizon HAS opened their Networks, but not many people will know what needs to be done at this time. From the information that I am aware of, this will be difficult to get switched until late 2008.

As for getting the Sprint phone on the network now, you would be best getting in contact with a Verizon Corporate Accounts manager to have the ESN number ported to Verizon's network. The company I work for provides activation services for embedded Express Modules and from time to time we have to have a customers card ported to the network they want versus paying the fees for a new card and new services.

If you contact Verizon's Technical support, do NOT talk to a supervisor, they have the same rights and restrictions that the front line techs do, request to speak witha tier 3 technician, these guys will be able to do the swap for you. Keep in mind tat it will take a little bit of time to research the number on sprints network to have it ported over.

I hope this helps,
