The slider tab is not transparent, no. The new pictures reflect a 6.5 with Sense 2.5 modded version that is not yet posted(pics. only). That one has the rounded selector tab. I do have other slider tabs I could provide you with, but not transparent ones for 2.1. They all have issues, IMO. Black with a shiny border looks nice.

As far as missing icons in the taskbar, which version did you install the old one with the link, or the new one with the .cab posted at the bottom of the first post?

I also recommend installing SDKcerts on your TP2 before installing any custom taskbar. See .cab attached to first post.
