As long as you have a license for each map installed on each device, there is no issue...
I like Garmin a lot... I originally got it because driving cross country, there are dead spots for cell service, and I still wanted a way to find out where I was... Also better for the water...
Google Maps is nice for Streetview and Lattitude... Family can track where I am...
