The screen is bigger and responds well (unlike the first batch of tp1s where the corners failed) and it isn't yellow and ugly (like the tp1s that fixed the failed corners -_-; ) The battery life isn't better than my tp1. The camera is quite shitty especially without the flash. The video recording is way better with lots more frames and and sound recording isn't worthless as with the tp1. Record a lawn mower with the tps and see.
I like the fact that they removed the completely worthless d-pad and I even notice little things like moving the volume control more toward the rear so it can function with the keyboard opened. I despise the location of the reset and rather turn the phone off and restart than having to remove that battery cover.
Videos play better despite what you may hear. I encoded some anime at max resolution to test it out. It skipped like crazy for some reason when I first started it. I then tried to replicate the problem but it ran flawlessly ever since.
The phone runs much cooler to the touch and the speakers and ringers (amplified used audacity) are louder.
Keyboard is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY better despite the missing tab and ctrl keys. That was taken care of though
. I also replaced the worthless mute button on the back with things that are useful.
I couldn't bring myself to sign a 2 year though so I purchased it off of craigslist for $300
