It has "home replacements" which can change icons and looks of it but can't be flashed with roms etc til its "rooted" and so far I don't think droid is but think g1, hero etc are. So depends on what customibility you want. Beautiful widgets gives the sense ui clock/weather and there is almost a app to replace all wm apps

how do you type an @ symbol with the hardware keyboard? lol. I set up a droid for one of my users, it is a nice phone. I personally could not live with a capacitive screen unless its the leo, then the cpu will make up for the lack of precision
