They obviously still have some 6700 refurbs as I got one today, but the refurb was not perfect. The display has some weird wavy ripples if you look at it from the slightest angle. So I called Asurion who transfered me to tech services where a very nice lady went through some basic technical steps. Then she said they will ship me a replacement phone.
That's when I asked if I had to get another refurb, she said, "No. Let me see what I can send you instead." She offered me a Treo 700 and a 6800. I said the 6800 sounds nice and she said it will arrive tomorrow.
