What I want is a way to do accented character when I am typing using the hardware keyboard...

After some more search I found something that works. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=459253
It is called Monilnaut SYM and up to now, it is working perfect. I installed this cab. After that, you have a new keyboard available that does not show a software keyboard. When you select it and using the hardware keyboard, you can type a letter, ex: e and press the SYM key to loop through the accented characters defined in the config file for e like é,è,ê, ...
With this, to use the SYM key to have the symbols list, you press shift+SYM.

I also installed the Juicy keyboard you posted in a thread. This one is a great software keyboard because you can do accented characters by holding the base letter and selecting in the list the accented characters for this letter.

Hope everything is clear.
Thanks for your help.
