Aside from Outlook, the benefits are minimal.
It's helpful to re-install software (.exe files);
It's an easy way to import pictures;
I totally depend on Outlook. we have several phones syncing with it and it's great to be on the same page with this program (Calendar, tasks, notes, family email, finances)
