Is there a way on the TP2 (Sprint) to have the HTC Large Buttons appear when clicking anywhere on the title bar the way that it did in the TP1?

I turned off the notification manager because I didn't like it and it didn't seem to work correctly. Now I can click any individual title bar icon (battery, volume, etc...) on the title bar to get to their option. However, I did like the large buttons popping up when the title bar was clicked on the TP1 and would like to reenable that functionality.
