If you feel comfortable messing with the registry, hit the start/ system tools/ PHM Registry Editor and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settin gs] Set SMSNoSentMsg to 1
Worked for me.
