tried portsip yesterday. The codec it uses for my voip box (it's actually a switchvox which is very similar to asterisk) is G711A and it's kinda crappy. choppy sound and bad reverb/echo. It's by far the easiest one to work with so far though. I'm so close. thanks for the suggestion.
Anyone other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
P.S. using a wi-fi router with NAT/firewall disabled. We use POLYCOM Spectralink wireless phones over these WAP's and they work fine.
