There's a couple parts to the realtime streaming quality equation:
- Orb's "upstream speed" setting on your PC. Go to http://mycast.orb.com/, click Settings, then go to General > Streaming Speed. Make sure your Upstream Speed is reasonable for your broadband connection and the quality you're trying to achieve. (I set mine to 1500 kbps.)
- Your phone's data connection. Kinoma Play (and FreePlay) have a continuous "quality of service" conversation with Orb on your PC while you're playing media. The goal is to provide the highest-quality playback possible under always-changing network conditions, so the quality can change while you're listening.
