Re: [120809] indagroove's Sprint Titanium TouchPro 2 ROM - (Build 21884.5.0.85)

Okay, I have this ROM installed and running. I setup my hotmail via the Windows Live, and then used MyPhone to get my contacts, calendar, and tasks. I then installed Sprint TV, Sprint Navigation, Sling Player, Remote Desktop, Skyfire, Facebook, SPB Mobile Shell, and put in the Sprint MMS settings.

Bing got my location in a matter of seconds (indoors). Google Maps had my location by the time the app opened (also indoors). I looked for Quick GPS but couldn't find it...

I then opened up Sprint Navigation and it prompted me to download Quick GPS data. So I set Quick GPS to automatically download, close when finished downloading, and don't remind me. It downloaded the data, and Sprint Navigation found my location in a matter of seconds- indoors.

I tested Internet sharing- worked flawlessly. I'll install the HTC WiFi Router tomorrow and test it...

I then opened up the Marketplace (which prompted me to install) and browsed through for a bit- worked flawlessly.

All of that stuff was installed to main memory too, nothing installed to storage card.

To anyone sitting on the fence about this- install this ROM. It is flat out awesome. I went out of my way to push it by installing everything to main memory, and it is still super snappy and responsive.

Juat a flat out awesome ROM. Very well done. After trying it out, now I can see why the chef said not to expect too many updates- because the ROM is pretty much perfect.

If he releases this kitchen, it is going to be a hot commodity, for sure. Heck, this ROM is going to be a hot commodity once the word starts spreading about it.

Big thanks to the chef, and I will be donating when I get some money.

All you people asking for manilla- install SPB Mobile Shell. You can even download it right from the marketplace. It's way better than manilla, and goes perfect with this ROM.
