Flashing is basically the term used to describe altering/upgrading the Read Only Memory (ROM) on a device like the vogue. You could take your device to a metro dealer and have them flash it or you can do it yourself. Let me know if you want to or have to do it yourself and I can give you some links to help you. Sometimes the people at the dealer don't really know what they are doing so you may have to do it yourself anyway. As far as gps, your vogue does have internal gps so you can certainly get turn by turn directions although that will depend on which application you use to give you those directions. There are some freeware apps like Microsoft bing that will give you directions and track you with gps and give you audible tones when and where you are supposed to turn completely free of charge.
