Yes, we can. I sifted through 2,100+ posts. Yes it took me about two days, no I didn't read ALL 2,100+, but I did read! Skip around a little.....and as was stated earlier, the same thing is being said over and over again because A) PEOPLE WHO REFUSE TO READ CONTINUE TO ASK THE SAME QUESTIONS OVER AND OVER and B) it, if nothing else, should reiterate some points!

He suggested I wait a year and upgrade to something else.

I told him I wasn't happy with that, that I needed a phone that worked for texting, which is why I bought this one. He told me I should just "google around" for a solution, that something was probably out there "on a forum or something", that there might be a "registry hack". How unprofessional. I shouldn't have to spend my time fixing Sprint's problem. Even though I actually CAN do that, it shouldn't be something expected of customers. Most customers don't have that level of expertise. I said nothing to him that indicated I had that level of expertise. I was actually playing dumb.
And this is the exact same thing I did today. I already knew to act like I didn't know much....meaning to NOT go trampling in a store talking about a list that we shouldn't have known about anyway. AS PER READING QUITE A FEW POSTS (cough...unlike....cough.....those.....cough.....w ho don't..COUGH), I tried a different store. My 3rd keyboard went out on TP #4. It was checked in and the wait time was TWO HOURS. I remained patient and about 30-40 mins into waiting, I KINDLY asked the host if I could be swapped to a different unit. He asked for my name and walked over to the techs and all I heard him say was "Check on (my name) please". About 10 minutes after that, a rep walked over to me with my TP in hand and said "Here's your phone. We did replace the keyboard, but that's only to get you through til Thursday when your other phone gets in. We are swapping it out". He explained why, gave me the options (which included the TP2) and there was definitely no contest. I had honestly only played with the TP2 just once (last week when a different store put a "new" KB on my phone). We talked for a few more mins and I was on my way out the door.
READ THE DANG POSTS!! It's really not that hard and those who don't and continue to ask repeat questions should be IGNORED! Lucky for them, they will get some people who will tell them nicely to read back into the forums.

And just an FYI, if the 'search' is actually utilized, it WILL bring up a thread or post with the information you need.

P.S.
My TP2 will be in Thurs!! I'm so ecstatic! (Some) Patience (AND READING) have prevailed! Lol. Good luck to those of you trying to get a TP replaced for LEGITIMATE reasons.
