Ok, I got it to work ... sorta. Had to install the 'Standard' rom then it works. Seems to be an issue (as far as I can tell) with the titanium build. I def had it with 28008 because that was the only reason I jumped on 28011 as soon as it was up ...

If I had to guess, maybe it has something to do with known contacts having a photo field? But I did have the problem if I had a contact with a photo or not though so ... ??
