Music on the TP2 is just a feature. The sound quality isn't bad, but its nowhere near as good as it is on the iPhone.

To be honest, out of the box, they both sound identical to me. By that I mean I hear no interference from either phone, and both phones have software equalizer programs readily available to use incase you dont like the way they came set up. Unless the iphone/touch offers 5.1+ surround sound, both devices have identical audio-out capabilities (although the iphone/touch delivers a far more polished experience)
I'm not a die-hard defender of WM, but it doesnt mean I'm going to keep a straight face when I hear some lemming tell me how the Iphone is superior to any mobile device in the market: which unfortunately happens an awful lot where I work.
PS: Ive witnessed some iTards that stand in line at a starbucks and flash their Iphones to the workers so they can SHOW them their drinks. Either their incompetent, or they're looking for attention.
