Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2
I didn't cite physical damage as my reason but rather overheating and crashing and the fact that a rep directed me to them. Susan at Asurion stated that Sprint directing us to them isn't legitimate, seeing that they're trying to get us to pay when Sprint themselves should be the ones to pay. So she transferred me over to Sprint's Complaint Dept.....I had the hold music at first then got a pause and was dumped back into the loop as if I had dialed *2!! AND THERE ARE LEGITIMATE PROBLEMS WITH MY PHONE! I ended up talking to a guy in customer finance (yeah, I'm wondering just as much as you) and he was actually the most informative person I've talked to. He said that when I called two days ago, the rep on the phone put in a ticket and that the manager needed to verify an issue so that I could "get a better model". I'm supposed to be getting a call from Sprint tomorrow about 'this issue'.
But, speaking of problems, I think I jinxed myself with even talking to them because guess what????? My effin KB just went out! SERIOUSLY! WnTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now, I get to make ANOTHER trip to the store. Oh yeah, sorry I left out the minor detail (insert sarcasm) that I'm already on TP #4.
I will update you all as to what happens.
