From the dialpad, you are correct - you dont' get a choice there. You get the choice you made in voip setup.

Ahh.. okay. so this is'nt really a clean way to use voip then
One last question - so how do I know that my voip setup has actually registered or not!! Since, I dont always have wifi, I dont enable the option "Enable over 3G" and I dont know when dialing if I am using voip or sprint?? Basically, how do I know if I have voip service available when I am ready to make a call that I want to make over VOIP ONLY??
