Yeah, that was for the taskbar icons and Start button. Your HDwall was configured properly, so that's not the issue. I would guess, that it is definitely the slider tab messing you up. Which is too bad, since now you can't use any of the sliders configured for Sense 2.1. There's no way to remove it from the Remove Programs menu huh?

Unfortunately I don't think a 6.1 version will work for you either. Since, after thinking more about it, the effect you are seeing would actually be the opposite on 6.1. 6.1 sliders are usually too big on 6.5 with Sense 2.5. Not the other way around. So this is appearing like you installed a 6.1 slider on a 6.5 rom! But it isn't!

Really puzzled about that slider tab you have. Can you copy this file 79daf061_manila from your Windows folder, and post it for me?
