Bing, Google Maps, Tower Location, and Touch Pro 2

So I know the Tower Location does not work on Bing if yourphone is a CDMA phone. I know it does if you have a GSM phone.

My question is this- if you have a CDMA Touch Pro 2, and you have your SIM card unlocked (or whatever you need to do in order to use it on GSM in the USA) then will Bing get your location from the cell towers?

For example, mine is a Sprint Touch Pro 2. If I pay for the unlocker (or whatever it is that allows me to use an AT&T prepaid SIM in it), and I pop in an AT&T prepaid SIM, but I continue to use my Sprint service- you get the idea...

Would Bing then grab the tower locationinformation from the GSM towers but allow me to continue to use the CDMA Sprint service?

Has anyone tried this yet?
