http://www.america.htc.com/support/m...downloads.html and update your phones rom. This update 2.17 fixes most of the issues you describe. The annoying alarm not working when charging is definantly fixed.
A camera on cell phone is more of a gimmick. I have never seen any phone that takes great pictures. I would suggest getting a real camera for quality photos.
