Buying new AT&T phone for friend.Questions.
Hey guys,

I want to get my gf a new phone and she's on AT&T. She currently has a pantech sliding keyboard phone. I want to get her a non-iPhone phone for under $200 without a contract.

My real question is if I get her a PDA phone will AT&T automatically activate a data plan on her contract? I know Verizon try to do this with me.

I'm also thinking about the HTC Diamond 2 although i think she loves hardware keyboards her brother already has the Tilt1.
