And since when did cell phone manufacturers stop giving out accessories? I remember I bought a phone 10 years ago and it came with more accessories than I knew what to do with (holster, ac adapter, car charger, headset, etc.).
a) they know people will buy the phone without it
b) if something goes horribly wrong with an accessory and it destroys your $600 phone, they don't want to be liable
c) they make money on accessory sales
d) all the above
