I've recently started flashing my phone much more, and I'm loving NGR's work.

2 quick questions on the 'flashdance':

1) I have been doing a hard reset on current ROM, flash Stock, hard reset, flash new, hard reset. Is the first hard reset on the current ROM necessary? Or can I just flash stock over whatever I currently have running?
2) Is it possible to skip the customizations on each flash/hard reset? I.E. could I reflash or hard reset on the alignment screen before any customizations have started? The customizations take the largest amount of time.
