I just did this little mod this morning & I wish I'd have done it sooner. This will save me money on cases. I always use snap cases to protect my phone & it is a huge PITA to get them off whenever I have a lockup. I have to use a credit card to loosen the back, & after so many removals the little tabs break off & I have to buy a new one. So I used a Dremel & freehanded 2 holes, 1 through the battery cover & one through the snap case, And it turned out great! I was kind of afraid it'd look bad but it's barely noticeable.
