The vgsmail forum is down and I can't tell whether the product is even being supported anymore. But several people here seem to use it and it might solve my problems so I installed it last night.

I ran the installer on my notebook and used ActiveSync to get it onto the 700wx. Then I configured a new mail account. (We use a private corporate IMAP and SMTP server that both require authentication and SSL/TLS.)

Incoming mail seems to work properly. But the log is getting messages every second:

SMTP connection failed
Socket close trigger received

I can't get back to edit the options (clicking on the mail account to change settings does nothing) in case I entered my SMTP password incorrectly.

Any idea where I can get help with this. It really seems like this will solve my e-mail problems if I can get it worked out.
